Professional Professional Development
Professional development is not just about learning the product. It’s about setting the stage for effective school improvement.
ion University
ion University is a structured, phased approach to implementing the ion ecosystem in your school. It is a reproducible model that takes into account the needs of your district, while providing a structured, approachable curriculum.
All sessions are facilitated by educators who have years of classroom experience – as well as real-life experience using ion.

Courses and Progression
The ion University scope and sequence follows a methodology for implementation and roll-out based on natural improvement cycles that are likely already in place.
Year 1
The focus of year 1 is data literacy and Core Curriculum review. Our curriculum is scaffolded so that by the end of year 1, users are ready to explore the MTSS area of our platform.
Year 2
MTSS is planned and implemented in our year 2 phase. Structures and processes created in year 1 are also reinforced – emphasizing fidelity.
Year 3 and Beyond
Years 3 and beyond are more about culuture building and expanded adoption. Our coaches work to solidify the Core Review and MTSS processes, while helping develop routines for onboarding new users.
